Targeted Audience
Physicians and clinically oriented basic scientists with special interest in myocardial, pericardial diseases, and heart failure. The Conference would be also of interest for oncologists and rheumatologists and/or specialist in clinical immunology
Presentations
The Conference will be based on main sessions, meet-the experts session, and satellite symposia consisting of three to five 20-minutes lectures delivered by distinguished experts.
- There will be two video demonstrations of surgical and interventional procedures
- In addition to the invited lectures, the conference will include original poster presentations, and a young investigators award session.
- PC video projector will be available for all presentations. No double projection or slide projection will be possible. Presentation on a CD-ROM or USB stick should be delivered to the technician at least one hour before the session. Presentation from a personal notebook is possible but not recommended for the sake of time during the session.
Languague
All oral and poster presentations will be in English, presentations in the industry-sponsored symposia will be in Serbian language with slides in English.
Young Investigators Award
Six best abstracts of authors less than 40 years of age will be selected for oral presentations in the YOUNG INVESTIGATORS AWARD SESSION. Three best contributions in categories: 1) myocardial and pericardial diseases, 2) heart failure, and 3) cardiovascular manifestations in autoimmune rheumatic disease will be awarded with a diploma and 500 EUR each.
Posters
Format of the poster presentation will be up to 100 cm wide, and up to 150 cm high.
CME Certificates
The Conference program will be submitted to the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for CME Accreditation. All participants will receive CME certificates.
